I seem to have developed an allergy to updating this thing. Trying to get over it.

It's not because I don't have anything to write about: I'm planning to post all the sort pieces I wrote for winterval, plus I still need to blather to everyone about books and television and share interesting links with people for the betterment of mankind, or at least so everyone knows what I'm talking about when I randomly start talking about Korra's arms.

Also, I'm still playing Skryim, although the number of quests is finally starting to go down, not up. Maybe one day I'll actually finish! (on hour 112 now...)

Let's start with television.

SPN 7x15: Continuity issues aside, this had almost all the elements I love about Supernatural in it. The creepy, creepy visuals (the headdesk scene), the look of the aftermath of people's lives, little bits of humor (Lucifer sticking out a forked tongue). And, okay, some of the plot twists I guessed, but there were one or two factors I was wrong about, which I enjoyed. It worked on a level that a lot of the rest of this season hasn't for me, and one of the few episodes I think I actually loved as opposed to 'kind of liked' or 'didn't quite hate'.

Spoilers for the rest of the season: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG EEEEE!

That is all.

(for real, my policy towards SPN in to try and have as few expectations as possible, as that only leads to disappointment. But the few things that we have had completely 100% confirmed make me so damn happy OMG.)

Community: Is returning, and all is well in the world. I'm assuming that everyone's already seen the trailers, but this article with the female leads (and one of the staff writers), manages to encapsulate everything I love about the show. And oh dear Jesus, the last line.

Game of Thrones:

Once upon a time, I totally thought I was going to reread the books before the series come out. That's not going to happen. But I remember a little of what's coming up, and goddamn this looks pretty.

Legend of Korra: There were like, five different Korra pieces that I wanted to link, but most of them are here. Also, there's character bios! I'm in love with every single part of this, but especially Korra's arms. She looks like she punches things, guys. She looks like she punches things often and with great enthusiasm. Also, the fact that her main outfit allows for range of movement in the limbs but has the torso covered up. Also, the fact that this is adorable. Also: American Gladiators with bending.

Not actually TV but who cares, it's adorable and everything I want in life: Atomic Robo animated series trailer! For those who have not experienced atomic robo, let it be known that it is adorable and funny and very nicely drawn and makes me feel the sort of warm fuzzy feelings I usually reserve for Middleman. And now there will be movement! OMG. Really excited.
