This weekend's been so busy, there was no time for roller derby.  That's how crazy busy it's been.  I've got a stack of new awesome comics that I've barely looked at (Fallcon was yesterday), and have no idea when I'll have time to watch the Mad Men series finale.  But I managed not to go into work today!

So quickly, before heading out the door again:

*Supernatural made me laugh out loud and love Bobby again.  Also enjoyed the Fargo reference.

*I still have problems with Morgana's characterization in regards to her treatment of Gwen, but that's nothing new.  Still enjoyed this episode more than expected.

*Corin Tucker's new album is the methadone to my Sleater-Kinney heroin addition

*Repo, the Genetic Opera-  I don't think I've ever seen a movie fail as hard with show, don't tell as this one.  Something tried to happen on screen once, but then it went black.  Surprise!Joan Jett was confusing.

*Plants vs. Zombies demo for Xbox-like the original, but in HD!  Huh?  What?  Why?

*I approve of mustacheoed squid.  Hirstute in history is something also near and dear to my heart.  I've been linked here before, but I always forget about it when I actually have money, so. . .

*The atlantic is republishing old technology articles from various eras.  Forgot to link this last week (don't ask me how long some of my 'currently open in other tabs' links have been left open, it's a little frightening).

*Why yes, I did need this in my life.  Even if I'm going to end up violently disagreeing with some of the articles, I'm sure.

*There is a mystery animal that is eating up all of my tapestry needles.

*The three-step, five ingredient, less than one hour recipe for buckeyes is the most popular thing I've ever made for my coworkers.  Go figure.

*And lastly, this is the best 'lost cat' poster ever:
